Mini STX is a new motherboard form factor (5x5 inches) mid size in between the NUC (4x4 inches) and mini-ITX (6.7x6.7 inches). Unlike NUC boards, mini STX boards have CPU sockets so you can choose which processor you want. However, unlike mini ITX boards there isn't a PCI-E slot for an add-in card.
These motherboards are based on the entry-level Intel H110 chipset for LG1151 Skylake processors. With no support for overclocking or RAID, these affordable boards are ideal for low cost, small form factor home and office PCs. 11/08/2016
