Scan Computers, a multi-award winning family owned business have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical & Returns Advisor to join our team. We’re looking for an experienced, motivated and driven team player to work in the technical support division, dealing with a range of customer interactions
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- To return faulty items to the supplier.
- Liaise with the supplier and get the RMA (returns material authorisation) number this could be via online / e-mail or telephone.
- once replacement received complete a quality check then book the goods in stock by creating purchase order number.
- Any credit notes that are received must be checked and validated using the system, make sure that the amount received is the current market value for the goods.
- Chase suppliers for regular updates on outstanding goods and credit notes.
- Good communication is required with both internal and external people. This will include staff and suppliers.
The Candidate
For this role. you would ideally have the following skills:
- Technical Experience in IT or IT related hardware
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, energetic and solution focused with an interest in the IT and Technology Industry
- High quality and professional communication skills
- Self-starter with strong prospecting ability
- High levels of effort, commitment and drive
- Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
