This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and expanding company. We’re looking for experienced, motivated and driven team players to work in the Scan AI division. The focus will be to sell a wide range AI, HPC, STORAGE & NETWORKING products and Professional Services to existing clients as well as generating new business.

You will be primarily responsible for the management of relationships with clients. As the senior point of contact for customers you also co-ordinate the resources needed to service projects, builds strategic operational plans and balance the expectations of clients.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining, strengthening and growing both current and new client relationships within Scan’s AI Vertical sectors
  • Create detailed sales business plans
  • Set and manage sales goals
  • Manage the entire sales cycle ‘end to end’
  • Assist in finding prospects and leads
  • Identify new sales opportunities in sync with the Scan AI collaboration team
  • Build strong client relationships
  • Provide customer support when needed
  • Learn new product and services features and benefits
  • Provide professional after-sales support
  • Respond to challenges and manage issues to ensure customer success and satisfaction
  • Prepare and present reports on KPIs
  • Manage a portfolio of diverse clients including pricing, stock availability and business optimization to achieve long term success
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing clients by up-selling and cross-selling
  • Satisfy customers’ needs and requests, responding to queries within a timely manner to deliver a positive customer experience
  • Establish budgets to build proposals and quotes
  • Meet customer, team and company deadlines
  • Increase product knowledge through personal research and ongoing internal training
  • Manage and enforce best practice account management discipline
  • Liaising with clients at a senior level on a day-to-day basis
  • Working with other senior managers to generate new accounts

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in building and developing a diverse client base, selling AI, HPC, STORAGE, NETWORKING or IT related products
  • Must be comfortable interacting and engaging with high value customers
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify opportunities and grow revenues
  • Proactive, energetic and solution focused with an interest in the AI sector
  • High quality and professional communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong prospecting ability
  • 5 years+ experience as a Senior Account Manager or similar role
  • 5 years+ experience in the IT Industry, preferred experience within AI
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
  • Good knowledge of CRM software and tools
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and passionate
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to work well alone as well as part of a team
  • Significant experience in professional client relationship management
  • The ability to plan and strategise at a senior level
