Robotics

The Unitree A2 is an industrial quadruped robot for inspection, patrol and field work. It weighs about 42 kg, carries 25 kg continuously (100 kg standing) and climbs 30 cm stairs and 45° slopes. It runs for about five hours on two hot-swappable batteries, so you can change batteries without shutting down.

Choose legs or wheels. The A2 walks on four legs and is best for stairs, gravel, utility tunnels and rough ground. The A2-W has wheel-legs with four extra drive motors (16 DoF), which make it more efficient on roads, paved sites and long patrol routes while still climbing 30 cm steps.

Then choose Standard or Pro. Standard has one LiDAR, an Intel Core i7 for your own development and an optional 100 TOPS compute dock. Pro adds a second LiDAR, the dock as standard, and SLAM mapping, autonomous navigation and follow-the-operator modes. All four support high- and low-level development and NVIDIA Isaac Sim, and spare batteries and chargers are listed here too.

The Unitree B2 is Unitree's heavy-duty industrial quadruped robot: a mobility platform that carries 40 kg or more continuously, runs for over five hours (more than 20 km unloaded) and reaches 5 m/s. It is a platform rather than a finished application. Unitree supplies the payload capacity, power, mounting points and control interfaces, and you or your integrator add the sensors, software and business logic.

The legged B2 (about 60 kg) climbs 40 cm steps head-on, for the roughest terrain. The wheel-legged B2-W (about 75 kg) is built for long distances on hard, level ground such as plant interiors and corridors.

Each comes bare, or with Unitree's LiDAR SLAM kit: a 32-line LiDAR plus an Intel Core i7 board running the standard navigation stack. Control and data interfaces are open through Unitree's published SDK, and you can add up to 550 TOPS of external AI compute. For lighter payloads and a smaller footprint, see the Unitree A2.

The Unitree Go2 is a quadruped robot dog for enthusiasts, schools, universities and developers. Every Go2 weighs about 15 kg, has 12 joint motors and uses Unitree's 4D LiDAR L2, with a 360° × 96° field of view, to map its surroundings and avoid obstacles.

The Go2 Air is the entry model, with an HD wide-angle camera and speeds up to 2.5 m/s, but it does not support secondary development. The Go2 Pro adds an 8-core processor for advanced and AI modes and 3D LiDAR mapping, plus voice functions and side-follow, with speeds up to 3.5 m/s. The Go2 EDU is the research and teaching model. It adds full secondary development, a depth camera, foot-end force sensors, an NVIDIA Jetson Orin compute module (40 to 100 TOPS) and a 15,000 mAh battery for about two to four hours of use.

Scan also offers Go2 EDU bundles with a Livox MID-360 LiDAR for more detailed mapping and navigation. For outdoor work with more payload and IP54 protection, see the Unitree As2.
