The Unitree B2-W non-LiDAR is a versatile industrial hybrid quadruped robot designed for engineers, researchers, and commercial developers seeking high durability, speed, and multi-modal terrain adaptability without LiDAR-based perception. Building on a proven quadruped platform, the B2-W integrates powerful high-torque actuators with wheeled feet and advanced non-LiDAR sensors—making it ideal for fast inspection, delivery, and navigation tasks across smooth floors, ramps, stairs, and rough surfaces.
Constructed with a durable, modular aluminum alloy frame, the B2-W delivers precise and dynamic locomotion combining legged agility with wheeled speed. Its 12 ultra-high torque joint motors, paired with efficient heat dissipation, enable walking, running, climbing stairs, and wheel-assisted rolling up to speeds around 15 km/h Hybrid locomotion enables seamless switching between walking and wheeled movement modes for optimised performance in diverse environments.
Without the 4D LiDAR sensor, the B2-W relies on HD optical cameras, depth sensors, foot force sensors and an IMU to maintain robust spatial awareness, obstacle detection, and environmental mapping sufficient for industrial scenarios where LiDAR is unnecessary or impractical.
Powered by a high-performance multi-core CPU with embedded AI acceleration, the B2-W supports real-time autonomous navigation, voice command recognition, programmable behaviors, and over-the-air software updates to ensure operational flexibility and continuous feature enhancement during prolonged deployments.
Connectivity is seamless with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 facilitating remote operation, software updates, and seamless integration with industrial networks. The rechargeable 45Ah (2250Wh) battery provides an endurance of 4–6 hours depending on payload, with fast-charging support to maximise operational uptime.
