The Unitree B2 is a robust industrial quadruped robot designed for engineers, researchers, and commercial developers who require extreme durability, speed, and terrain adaptability without relying on LiDAR for perception. Building on a proven heavy-duty quadruped platform, the B2 integrates powerful high-torque actuators, advanced sensor options excluding LiDAR, and rugged hardware—ideally suited for demanding field tasks including inspection, delivery, and navigation across rugged and uneven surfaces.

Constructed with a durable, modular aluminum alloy frame the B2 delivers highly precise and dynamic locomotion on challenging terrains. Its 12 ultra-high torque motors, featuring advanced heat dissipation technology, enable a wide array of agile movements such as running up to 6 m/s, climbing stairs and obstacles, jumping, and adaptive rollover capability. The system is engineered for continuous heavy-duty operation supported by reliable cooling.

While omitting the 4D LiDAR sensor in this model, the B2 employs HD cameras, depth sensors, foot force sensors, and an IMU to ensure robust spatial awareness, obstacle detection, and environmental mapping sufficient for complex industrial settings where LiDAR is not required or preferred.

Driven by an 8-core high-performance CPU with integrated AI acceleration, the B2 supports real-time autonomous navigation, voice commands, programmable behaviors, and OTA software updating to maintain peak performance and flexibility during extended deployments.

Connectivity is seamless with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 facilitating remote operation, software updates, and seamless integration with industrial networks. The rechargeable 45Ah (2250Wh) battery provides an endurance of 4–6 hours depending on payload, with fast-charging support to maximise operational uptime.
