The Unitree Go2 EDU is a sophisticated, educational quadruped robot designed for educators, researchers, and developers who require advanced AI capabilities and extensive programmability. Retaining the core Go2 platform, the Go2 EDU introduces powerful enhancements in computing, sensor integration, and connectivity—making it ideal for interactive learning, technical development, and complex research environments.

Built with a robust and modular aluminum alloy frame the Go2 EDU delivers dynamic, highly precise and agile locomotion across varied terrains. Its improved 12 high-torque joint motors enhanced by internal heat pipe cooling, support agile actions including walking, running, climbing, jumping, stretching, shaking hands, cheering, and even upside-down walking. The system boasts a peak joint torque of 45N.m for reliable performance.

Advanced perception forms the core of the Go2 EDU, integrating Unitree’s proprietary 4D LiDAR L1 sensor with ultra-wide 360°x90° hemispherical perception, minimal blind spots, and a detection range starting from 0.05m. The intelligent sensor suite includes depth and HD wide-angle cameras, foot force sensors, and an IMU, enabling unmatched spatial awareness, obstacle avoidance, and environmental mapping. ISS 2.0 (Intelligent Side-follow System) further refines autonomous terrain navigation and remote vector positioning accuracy.

Driven by an 8-core high-performance CPU with an optional high-performance Nvidia Jetson Orin Nano module, the Go2 EDU unlocks immense AI computing (up to 40TOPS) , enabling voice command capability, graphical programming, project customization, and advanced real-time adaptation for interactive research and development. OTA software updates guarantee continuous access to cutting-edge features and educational tools.

Connectivity is seamless with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and 4G module supporting over-the-air updates and remote operation. The rechargeable 8,000mAh battery provides up to 2 hours of runtime, with an optional 15,000mAh battery for extended missions and fast-charging solutions that reduce downtime during experiments and hands-on activities.

Your new robot will also be provided with Long Endurance battery (15,000 mAh), allowing between 2-4 hours of continuous operation before charging as well as a Fast Charger for quicker battery fill ups.
