Product Overview

Of all the new breed of Pedal designers, Brian Wampler is the one who seems to be most actively chasing each and every tone on the planet.
With this pedal he's trying to chase the Gilmour-esque tones of a fuzz pedal into a full EL34 driven stack. Apparently he hit paydirt pretty quickly, and started to generate a very usable distortion somewhere between Gilmour's 'Comfortably numb' sound and Eric Johnson's 'Cliffs of Dover'. He found that chords remained clear with every string ringing out, and yet he could dial the volume right down and the circuit still reacted well. At this point he realised he had a pretty persuasive base tone to work from.
He added a voicing switch to allow the user to move toward either a more Fuzz type tone or a more Distortion type sound. The fuzz sound was big and floppy and cleaned up with the guitars volume control, while the Distortion sound was tight and bright.
So, it's another of these pedals that offer the best of both worlds, from creamy fuzz tones to shattering waves of distortion, and this one comes with Brian Wamplers pedigree.
