Video Routers

Video routers form the backbone of signal distribution in professional video and broadcast, directing feeds from cameras, replay devices, and graphics to switchers, monitors, and recorders without manual recabling. This category covers compact SDI matrices, rackmount IP routers and multiformat systems supporting 3G/12G SDI, HDMI and SMPTE 2110 for studios, OB vehicles and control rooms. It suits vision engineers, technical directors and live production teams managing multi-camera events, news galleries, sports coverage and corporate broadcasts. Scalability and control options drive most decisions here. Smaller matrices handle four to eight sources for flyaway kits, while larger frames with web-based panels manage dozens of inputs across galleries. Clean switching, genlock and salvage features ensure seamless rerouting even mid-show. Each router prioritises signal integrity and preset recall to keep complex workflows predictable under pressure.

Routing Switchers

Video Routing Switchers facilitate the efficient distribution and routing of multiple video signals across large and complex production environments. They enable flexible, real-time switching between numerous input and output sources, supporting a variety of signal types including SD, HD, 3G, 6G and 12G-SDI, as well as analogue and digital audio and data streams.

Designed for broadcast, live event, and studio applications, routing switchers offer scalable configurations ranging from small matrices to massive 144x144 input/output systems. Features include signal re-clocking, format conversion, sync management, and redundancy options to ensure uninterrupted operation. Controlled via front panels, network interfaces, or integrated control software, these switchers streamline workflows by allowing precise, glitch-free signal path management and seamless integration across mixed-signal environments.

Control Panels

Video Routing Control Panels provide intuitive, tactile interfaces for managing complex video routing systems with precision and ease. Designed for professional broadcast and live production environments, these control panels feature physical buttons, rotary knobs, and LCD screens that facilitate rapid source and destination selection across large video router matrices.

Key features include direct input/output entry buttons, spin knobs for browsing video sources, clear and take buttons to minimise routing errors, and live video previews on integrated LCDs for fast, visual confirmation of active signals. Customisable labels and programmable shortcut keys enhance workflow efficiency, while Ethernet and USB connectivity ensure seamless integration with networked video routers and external control software.
