BATTERY POWERED MUSICAL FREEDOMThe Zoom R12 MultiTrak provides you power and hands-on workflow of classic 8-track recorders but with several modern upgrades. One of the main features being touchscreen track editing, perfect for capturing ideas and even full songs without the complicated setup of DAWs and computers.
The R12 connects easily to microphones, instruments, or line level gear such keyboards and mixers using two TRS/XLR combo jacks with the ability to record up to eight tracks per song. Trying out song ideas is easy, just use your own instruments or try out the R12's incredible pre-loaded drum machine, onboard effects, and patch options.
The R12 also features a built-in synth that can be controlled using the on-board touchscreen or alternatively external keyboard. If you love the feel of hardware recording but wish for enhanced workflow and touchscreen control, the Zoom R12 MultiTrak is perfect for you!

AMAZING SOUNDThe R12 features ultra-clean preamps and you’ll love the way they sound. With two XLR/TRS inputs, and 8 tracks of audio, the R12 is perfect for recording everything from demos to release-ready songs.
FULL LOADEDThe R12 includes a send effects channel offering reverb, chorus and delay with a dedicated effects return fader. For advanced tones, you can use presets and effects from Zoom's Guitar Lab. The R12 also has pan and a 3-channel EQ for each track and a compressor on inputs 1 and 2.
TAKE IT EVERYWHEREThe R12 offers up to 5 hours on four AA batteries allowing you to bring your production anywhere. You can also use the R12 with the included AD-17 power adapter, or a USB battery.
PLAYBACK & PLAY ALONGUse Sequence Play to create a playlist of your projects. Then use them as backing tracks for when you’re playing live or rehearsing a set.
