Reviews
650W Corsair RM650x Series, Full Modular, 80 PLUS Gold, SLI/CrossFire, Single Rail, 54A, 135mm Fan, ATX PSU is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent very quiet power supply An excellent very quiet power supply Easy to fit, the modular design allows just those cables which are needed to be attached, avoiding the jumble of cables on units with integral cabling. The cables are sufficiently long for use in large tower cases, but not too long to "clog-up" the case. In particular the extra 8 point connector for the CPU chip is of correct length, unlike some other makes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High build quality I've used a few different brand PSU, this is the best one, quiet running & no buzzing noise when powered down Highly recommended

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy As always the service received by Scan was superb, not only that but this product has been an absolute dream. Replacing a generic iCute PSU that had proprietary cabling for it's modular system, this system comes with more cables than I imagine I will ever use, but also runs at a whisper - even when my R9 280 is running the Witcher III at 4K on almost Ultra settings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid PSU at the heart of my games PC Bought this PSU as a replacement for an old fully-cabled 520W 'gaming' supply. The old supply had started making a worrying 'relay-click' sound at decent load; I decided to check a few reviews and came up with this as a known-solid performer. The packaging was good, the range of connections on the completely modular setup was excellent and it was very easy to fit and connect everything up neatly. It's been powering my games setup (i5 4690, 16GB DDR3, GTX 1070, two HDD, two SSD and a DVD-RW) for over a month now and has been reliable and quiet enough that I can't tell if it's the PSU or the (also very quiet) CPU/GPU cooling that murmers gently in the background when I'm pushing the system.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Second Corsair RMX650 PSU that has stopped working. I have a Scan 3XS system and this morning the replacement unit sent to me as the first went after less than one year has lasted around 4 months and is now dead. They both worked fine the day before, but the following day refused to power on. No power output at all, no lights on the motherboard. So either Scan have under specified the PSU for my PC or this PSU is just not fit for purpose!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fully modular PSU In my opinion if your looking at a fully modular psu your already half way there as they are the way forward because you can use whatever ports you want and make your rig look tidy. This model in my opinion is a great, gold rated efficient and at 650w all you will ever need for a mid to high end gaming pc. Quality build and comes with a soft bag full of leads for everything you would ever want. It's quiet when the fan is on which is rare because the psu is just too damm efficient. I am running 1x sdd, 1x hdd,a palit gtx 1070 overclocked, a 7170 progaming motherboard, bequiet pro rock 3, 16 gig 2 ddr4 vengence, and i56600k over clocked to 4.6ghz and no power shortages at all. I even think it has a 10 year guarantee rather than 7 with corsair so bonus. Overall I would not consider anything else in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nice quality. Everything about this feels good solid and reliable and in performance it has not disappointed. Am running a system built into a corsair 250D mini case, with a Gigabyte G1 Nvidea 1060 6gb, a blue ray disc drive and two ssd's a 240 and a 480. Two fans 120 and 80mm and its as quiet as a mouse. Nice quality cables too, would especially recommend for a mini build.
