Made for for musicians wishing to travel light, without having to transport an extra acoustic guitar from show to show. This new-generation compact pedal is made using COSM modeling technology, which transforms any electric guitar into a range of beautiful acoustic guitars.
The AC-3 features Top and Body controls so you can shape the characteristics of the four acoustic models. Quickly create the perfect acoustic-guitar sound easily with simple knob adjustments and add depth and life to the sound with built in digital reverb. Two sets of outputs are provided for connecting the AC-3 to a standard guitar amp and to a direct input device such as a PA, recorder! Making your playing experience a lot more enjoyable.

Stunning PrecisionThis small but powerful pedal wonderfully showcases BOSS’s COSM Acoustic-Modeling technology, simulating an acoustic guitar much more precisely and realistically than previously possible. Derived from BOSS top-of-the-line AD-8, the AC-3 simulates the sound of an acoustic guitar with stunning precision.
Four simulation modes are on offer: Standard, Jumbo, Enhanced, and Piezo-equipped; the latter gives you that famous “cut through the mix” direct piezo sound. Previous compact acoustic-guitar modeling-pedals were good, but the AC-3 has raised the bar.
