Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hopeless I'm a fan of Corsairs products so I got this power supply for my brand new rig. After about 3 days of use the fan would grind, click and pulsate randomly. I got an RMA through Scan which they were extremely helpful with, Corsair expected me to pay for the postage there and back for the new PSU's RMA but Scan sent me a pre-paid postage label! Scan sent me another brand new sealed PSU of the exact same model, 10 minutes after use, EXACT SAME PROBLEM. Fan grinding and clicking. I've yet to RMA this one but I will do soon. If you look at the other reviews just below mine you'll see this has become a problem with these power supplies, bad quality. I'm getting a refund this time, totally lost confidence in Corsair. Avoid these PSUs!.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your time! First 10 minutes after installation were great, after that it went incredibly loud and hasn't calmed down since. After the noise came about I did a quick google search to find out that loads of other people have been having the same problem. Don't waste your time and get something better!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not get this power supply From my own experience and looking at review online (after purchase regrettably) I have come to a conclusion that there is a fault in the design of the power supply. The power supply is prone to coil wine. I had to get this replaced at first and at the time i only thought it was normal but now even the replacement has coil wine and looking online many people are reporting this. This specs on this PSU were very appealing especially at the price point but this only seems to be achieved by lack of quality control and use of low grade components. I repeat don't get this power supply and save you from the hassle of returning it ( now i cant use my computer again for another week and going to be behind on work )

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value for a fully modular power supply. I got this power supply about a month ago as my last supply didn't have enough wattage. This power supply works very well with my R9 290, no problems whatsoever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value and efficient This is probably the best value PSU is SLI capable (with 4x 6+2 pin PCI-E) and has an 80Plus Gold efficiency rating. As a bonus, the single 12V rail means that you don't have to worry about balancing load, and the modular cables make it easier to do a tidy job. It is also very shallow front-back, so would be a good choice in a more compact chassis. My only criticism would be that the SATA/molex cables are not particularly modular; you almost inevitably need to connect two (to reach optical drive plus disk), and they are fairly long with ~4 connectors each. It would be tidier to have them broken down into more, smaller cables. On the other hand, it is only advertised as hybrid modular, so it isn't an entirely fair objection.
