The Experience is a powerful, combined Fuzz and Octave pedal in one striking, tough chassis, adorned with a visually striking paint job and colour scheme reminiscent of the period from which this pedal takes it's inspiration from.
Channel the spirit of Hendrix himself when you step on the 'Experience' from Tsakalis, with dedicated controls for both effects, this pedal allows the player to use both effects seperately, or together, for maximum homage to the man himself!

The ‘Experience’ is a unique and authentic Fuzz/Octave pedal from Tsakalis. Designed to revive the iconic guitar tones from the 1970’s rock/psychedelia era, with a modern touch to the circuitry. Featuring 2 completely independent channels, one for Fuzz, one for Octave, these are capable of being used individually, or combined together for a whole world of thick, grizzly tone.
The Fuzz effect is shaped by 4 knobs. ‘Volume’, ‘Tone’, ‘Damage’ and ‘Gain’. Tweaking the ‘Damage’ determines the bias for the transistors, turning this anti-clockwise provides an effect more akin to an overdriven amplifier, whilst turning it clockwise will see the Experience add subtle sub-octave colourings to the tone. Adjusting the ‘Gain’ will bring more of the classic ‘silicon’ fuzz to the forefront, this is where the Hendrix factor may become more apparent. ‘Volume’ controls the overall output volume, whilst ‘Tone’ will allow you to shape the overall tone from the pedal.
Controlling The 'Experience'
Fuzz Volume This knob acts as the main volume control for the Fuzz effect.
Fuzz Tone This knob acts as the main tone control for the Fuzz effect.
Damage Adjusting this will set the bias for the transistors, and rolling this counterclockwise will provide a more overdrive-like tone. Increasing this will add subtle sub-octave textures.
Gain This knob acts as the main Gain control for the Fuzz effect.
Octave Volume This knob acts as the main volume control for the Octave effect.
Octave Gain Adjusting this determines the amount of Gain on the octave channel. The further this knos is turned, the Experience produces a classic and easy to manipulate octave up effect, enhancing your tone with ringing octaves and micro-phonic feedback at the end of every note.
