Acoustic-electric Guitar with Solid Spruce Top
& ziricote back & sidesThis NEX-sized cutaway features a solid spruce top and remarkable, rare ziricote back and sides. Ziricote is a central American wood marked by beautiful grain that sometimes resembles landscapes. The tone is similar to rosewood, but with a more solid, sweet lower midrange content.
The guitar features maple binding, abalone inlay and rosette, and cool old-school gold open-gear butterbean tuners. The guitar features Takamine's TP4TD electronics for ease of use on stage. This gorgeous guitar guitar ships with a fitted GB W gig bag as an extra little sweetener!

A Combination of Rare & Premium Tonewoods
pristine clarityExpertly crafted from premium tonewoods spruce and ziricote, Takamine’s GN90CE sings with a truly beautiful sound, and its all thanks to these special tonewoods. With spruce used for the top, this wood oozes with fantastic dynamics and incredible clarity and articulation. Even played at the loudest volumes with the most dynamic of chords, you can be assured pristine clarity will remain.
For the back and sides, Takamine chose to use ziricote. As a rarer tonewood, this gives the GN90CE an extra touch of luxury and uniqueness. Featuring a deeper colour and a more defined grain, ziricone is certainly pleasant on the eye and is sure to attract more than a few admirers on stage or in the studio! It doesn’t just look good though of course! Tonality wise, it sits somewhere in the middle between rosewood and ebony. The combination of these two tonewoods really does make for something truly special!

integrated tunerTakamine’s GN90CE-ZC NAT features the highly effective and versatile TP-4TD preamp, delivering a crystal-clear amplified output.
A welcome inclusion across the Takamine’s G-series, the TP-4TD includes gain control, tuner and active shelving EQ with highly responsive bass, mid and treble controls. Not forgetting the handy low-battery indicator.
