NEX is an improved shape of the playability maximally without losing an acoustic resonance of dreadnought body. This narrower waist width body is advantaged, especially when you play it while sitting.
This Non-cutaway NEX shape adopts a short 630mm scale with lower string tension to target customers in entry range players to learn and have fun.
With the electric side, the newly developed TP-3G preamp has brought the electric sound to a new level of G- series. Fundamental functions for sound-making are loaded and enough to control in the right amount of range for people who take Takamine’s Acoustic-Electric guitar for the first time.

It doesn’t matter what the value of the guitar, if you buy it from us we take extra steps to ensure you are completely satisfied with your instrument. Each guitar goes through a 22 step professional guitar set up process to make sure your new instrument sounds as the manufacturer intended it to play.
This means that your guitar may take an extra day to deliver, just so we can get these checks done. You’ll receive email updates once your guitar is ready for despatch.
