Ultra-Wide Stereo SoundstageThe PreSonus Eris® E44 studio monitor provides an extended and highly accurate frequency response with the widest stereo field available in its class. The built-in Midwoofer-Tweeter-Midwoofer, MTM, also known as “D’Appolito” configuration gives you enhanced off-axis response and spatial resolution.

As a result, you get more consistent listening experience, smoother frequency response, and an ultra-wide, detailed stereo soundstage. As with all PreSonus® studio monitors, the Eris E44 provides consistent, precise listening and extensive user controls. The ultra-wide stereo image generated by its MTM/D’Appolito design makes it an ideal solution for anyone who requires the best possible spatial resolution of its class.

Amazing Features • Balanced XLR, balanced ¼-inch TRS, and unbalanced RCA inputs provide flexibility for seamless integration into any environment
• 1.25-inch, silk-dome HF driver ensures smooth high-frequency performance that is never fatiguing to the ears
• Dual 4.5-inch, woven composite LF/midrange drivers produce dynamic, size-defying bass output
• Acoustic Space settings (Flat, -2 dB, -4 dB) compensates for room placement
• 90W/140W Class A/B bi-amplification for an open, clear sound

Consistent Listening

Ultra-Wide Sweet SpotSound waves from two components in a standard speaker design can interfere with each another, generating peaks at some frequencies and dips at others. These will all differ depending on where the listener is in relation to the speaker.

In an MTM/D’Appolito configuration, component interference and the sonic inperfections that come with it are reduced. So listeners get an ultra-wide sweet spot and a more consistent listening experience on- and off-axis.

Transparent & Cohesive Sound

presonus eris e44

Crystal ClearThe Eris E44 studio monitor features a pair of 4.5-inch, woven composite, low-frequency drivers. This gives you a more constant dispersion pattern throughout the frequency range, providing you with less time-smeared audio and more clarity in the overall sound.

The weave and nature of the dual woofers also helps break up reflected energy, so less delayed reflections reach the listener’s ear. Along with the MTM/D’Appolito configuration, this adds to producing a transparent, cohesive sound.

Horizontal Or Vertical

presonus eris e44

Ideal PositioningA lot of MTM speaker configurations must be set vertically instead of horizontally, as vertical placement gives you a clear, interference-free midrange and treble reproduction to either side, extending the sweet spot.

By bringing the midrange drivers closer together and raising the high-frequency driver, Eris E44 studio monitors are capable of performing perfectly in both set ups, so you can position your speaker the way that works best for you.

You're In Control

Extensive ResponseModern music producers deal with a wide range of musical genres and sometimes work in more than one location. Which is why Eris-series studio monitors offer complex acoustic tuning controls.

The three-position Acoustic Space switch helps to compensate for the boundary bass boost that can occur when a monitor is placed in a corner or near a wall. High and Mid controls help to further reduce room anomalies. A Low Cutoff filter makes it easy to include a Temblor® subwoofer into your monitor setup.
