When inspiration strikes, it’s important you have the tools to voice this inspiration. To voice this inspiration, you can count on Keeley’s ‘Oxblood Overdrive’ to the be beast of your burden. Keeley's 'Oxblood' overdrive is the company's response to the influx of clones of the 'Mythical Beast' pedal. Keeley decided to build an original design, with a newly designed circuit to allow players to blend between crystal clear cleans, to amp-crushing roars!
Keeley focused on that impossibly huge and tight mid-range which makes any guitar – Strat, LP, Tele – sound gargantuan. Keeley were confident they could do this their way, and do it better! The results lie in the magnificent ‘Oxblood’ Overdrive. To quote Mr Keeley himself, ‘I am confident we not only drew blood, we crafted a killer’. Perfect.

Two Switchable Diodes
With the Oxblood Overdrive you roll off the Drive Control and get a perfectly clean sound; you can dial in any amount of distortion and volume to stomp an amp into pure tonal Nirvana. The Keeley Oxblood Overdrive offers you two ways to clip and saturate your signal with overtones by selecting carefully chosen diodes.
These are different than the standard Oxblood. These diodes were chosen to give you bigger, more open amp tones without a lot of compression.

1. LevelControls output level of pedal up to +25dB boost.
2. Phat SwitchRight for increased bass response. Left Fc=736Hz, Right Fc=66Hz.
3. ToneControls overall tone of the effect.
4. DriveClockwise for more distortion/saturation. Turn off for clean boost.
5. Clipping SwitchLeft for greater saturation, tighter distorion (Magical Diodes).Right for greater dnamics amd increased output (Mythical Diodes).
6. FootswitchTurns effect on/off.
