Legator N8FSS-HB - Hyper Nova Blue

Eight Strings. Extended Range. Uncompromising Metal Performance.Built for players who want to push into seriously low territory, the Legator N8FSS combines an extended-range eight-string layout with a sleek, fast-playing neck and active Aftershock humbuckers. Its distinctive body design and striking finish options give it plenty of visual character, but the real focus is on keeping those extra strings controlled and playable.

A 26.5"–27.5" multiscale layout gives the lower strings the additional tension they need for tight, defined riffing, while keeping the upper strings comfortable for bends, leads and more intricate parts. The bolt-on, three-piece maple neck has a slim profile measuring 17.5mm at the first fret and 18.5mm at the twelfth, paired with a 12"–16" compound-radius Richlite composite fingerboard. Twenty-four jumbo stainless steel frets provide a durable, smooth playing surface, while offset circular aluminium inlays and luminescent side markers help with navigation across the board.

Legator’s active Aftershock humbuckers deliver the output and attack suited to modern metal, extended-range riffing and layered recording work. Master volume and tone controls, alongside a three-way blade switch, keep the controls straightforward, so you can concentrate on the playing rather than wrestling with a complicated setup.

A lightweight 38mm mahogany body is topped with quilted maple on most finishes, while the Death Valley version features buckeye burl for a different visual character. A reinforced carbon-fibre truss rod adds extra neck stability, and the Legator-exclusive brass multiscale bridge works alongside locking tuners to keep the eight-string setup secure. Finished in satin, the N8FSS is a focused tool for players who need extended range, fast access and a solid platform for modern heavy music.
