Keeley - 'Mini Katana'
Clean Boost

+35dB Boost
Since its inception, Keeley’s ‘Katana’ has become one of the most popular boost pedals available today, and for good reason too! The Katana maintains your original signal and keeps it clear and tidy, but at a much louder volume for when you need a quick, simple boost. Now, Keeley have reimagined one of their most successful and popular pedals, in a new mini format, the ‘Mini Katana’.
Whist the Mini Katana is much smaller in size, the circuit inside, remains the same. The Mini Katana utilises the same cascading FET stages with which the original Katana was designed with too, so you can still get the same sound from your amp and guitar, just louder. This boost pedal is as clean and clear as they come, just now in mini format! There’s no excuse not to have this brilliant tool on your board!
Sometimes however, a clean boost doesn’t quite cut it for the sound you have in your head. Sometimes you need that little bit of grit and bite for a rhythm sound, or for when your OD channel needs that extra little push. On the original, full size Katana, you had to pull the control knob to unlock this extra gain, but this time around, Keeley decided to place it inside the sweep of the gain control. Once you hit around 2 o’clock, you’ve reached the boosted territory!
If you’re looking for a boost pedal which maintains your original signal, but can provide a decent boost when you need it most, you can’t go wrong with Keeley’s ‘Mini Katana’!
