Merging together a cutting fuzz, multi-head tape-style delay, alongside colourful modulation, Keeley’s ‘Dark Side’ workstation multi-fx was designed to make your Floyd-tinged dreams come to life. The fuzz section is inspired by a ’77 op-amp fuzz circuit, customised further for endless sustain and clarity.
The multi-head tape delay offers a range of 12 syncopated delay styles, whilst the modulation side of the ‘Dark Side’ delivers Flanger, Rotary Speaker sim, U-Vibe and Phaser effects, there’s also a handy toggle switch so you can decide the order of the effects too. Take things to the next level by connecting an external expression, this is where the true psychedelic fun lies!
If you’re a fan of 70’s psychedelia and rock tones (most of us?!) are your jam, you simply have to give the ‘Dark Side’ from Keeley a go!

Psychedelia Soaked Heaven
step into the dark sideThe ‘Dark Side’ from Keeley was designed and engineered with to do one thing, vast, chasms of psychedelia-tinged tones. Most of the effects inside the ‘Dark Side’ aren’t just recycled effects from the Keeley range.
The Flanger’s circuit is a circuit previously unseen before in any of the Keeley range. The U-Vibe features a deeper range, and a more vibrant intensity than any of Keeley’s prior U-Vibes. The 4-stage Phaser present on the ‘Dark Side’ is the only effect here seen before, and it sounds just as killer as it did in Keeley’s ‘Bubble Tron’!

in the usaThe Keeley Darkside is a powerhouse of tone, packed in our popular workstation style enclosure.
On the right, it features a thick, creamy fuzz, based on a highly modified 1977 op-amp circuit. On the left, the Dark Side serves up a detailed recreation of that famous, spinning drum tape delay, complete with all 12 tape head modes. If Modulation is what you’re after, the Dark Side delivers with Flange, Phase, Rotary Speaker or Univibe with a unique blend control to produce modulation effects never heard before.
To allow for perfect pedal board placement, The Dark Side comes with a TRS insert cable for placing effects between it’s 2 independent sides. The Expression pedal input allows for real time foot pedal control of the rate of modulation effects, or the feedback of the delay all the way in to self- oscillation
