Keeley Electronics - 'Aurora'
Digital Reverb Effects Unit

Keeley 'Aurora'
digital reverb
Welcome Keeley’s ‘Aurora’ into the hallowed halls of psycho-acoustic processing. There are arguably few effects which can claim to compliment the electric guitar better than a good reverb; be it spring reverb coils in a tank, the massive chasm of echo from an old cathedral, or 600-pound sheet-metal vibrations. Reverb has the power to invigorate our imaginations and creativity like no other effect out there. Reverb is the key to the highway.
Keeley do stompboxes, and boy do they do them well. For this reason, the Aurora had to meet the company’s strict and specific criteria. It had to be an affordable unit, whilst not compromising audio quality. It had to be simple to use and spark creativity. Lastly, it had to offer everything you could need to tailor your tone, without 12 confusing knobs. Having achieved all of the above, Keeley are proud to unveil their true bypass, dry analogue path, low noise, 24-bit, high-fidelity reverb processor, the ‘Aurora’.

Four Control Parameters

packed with creative dynamicsThe Aurora packed with creative potential across three unique reverbs. Hall, Room and Plate settings are available at the flick of a switch, all of which have been created with the greatest care to make sure your signal is as clean as possible. No one wants a pedal that sucks all of the life out of their tone, so Keeley did their upmost to make sure this is the least digital sounding digital pedal you’ve tried.
Attack, Decay, Tone and Blend offer a wealth of depth control. Attack and Decay affect how fast the reverb enters the signal and how quickly it trails off. The Tone control sets darkness or brightness for moody or prominent effects. This is helpful for making sure that your guitar is always sitting pretty in the mix.
The coolest control is the blend knob. This may not seem like much, but on a reverb, it provides an interesting dynamic. As you turn this control up you will not only be adding more reverb into the mix but after you reach noon it will also start to lower the volume of your dry guitar signal. Perfect if you really want to dive into some beautiful spacey ambience.
