Product Overview In 2016 Dynaudio PRO set out to redefine the game of personal reference monitoring with the LYD range. They have expanded the award and review-topping range with this brand-new 3-way studio monitor. LYD 48 brings together a 4" midrange and an 8" woofer with a 1" soft-dome tweeter making the monitors perfectly suited for nearfield and midfield monitoring applications.

Dynaudio's custom hand-made drivers are legendary, the LYD 48 features the same non-fatiguing drivers and each is powered by a dedicated state of the art Class D amplifier. Delivering 80W of power for the LF driver, 50W for the MF and 50W for the HF per monitor with selectable input sensitivity, "Standby Mode" and a 96kHz/24bit signal path the LYD 48 does not disappoint. With the same DSP technology from the rest of the LYD series this allows the 'Bass Extension' option to extend or curtail the low frequency response by 10Hz where needed, while both 'Position' and 'Sound Balance' controls ensure the best possible performance for any environment.
