Product Overview With the D-Link DIR-300 Wireless G router, you can share a high-speed internet connection wirelessly, so several people can be online surfing, chatting or checking e-mails simultaneously. This router acts as the heart of your Wi-Fi network, so you can also share photos, music, video, printers and digital media players.

The router adheres the 802.11g specification from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). it can be used with any Wi-Fi adaptor or device based on the older standard 802.11b or the newer standard 802.11n.

The router can be used with any type of broadband connection, either based on ADSL, Cable or ISPs offering telephone or TV services with Internet access. The Wireless G Router includes four Ethernet ports ready for you to connect Ethernet-enabled PC, print server and other devices.

The router includes a firewall that prevents hackers from entering your network from the internet. You can also control which devices are allowed to join the network via the MAC address filtering feature. Last but not least, Parental control allows you to block certain website addresses, preventing users from viewing inappropriate content. This can be adjusted according to the time of the day.
