TWO DISTORTIONS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!Inside BOSS’s DS-2 Turbo Distortion lies not one, but two powerful types of distortion inside one compact, pedalboard friendly unit. Classic Boss distortion and Turbo Distortion modes come together to serve up superb sonic firepower for both stage and studio.
New Turbo Distortion!What really sets the DS-2 apart from its older sibling, the iconic DS-1, is the new Turbo modes which offer totally different kinds of distortion. Once set to Turbo Mode I, the DS-2 offers a lighter distortion sound with a completely flat frequency response.
Once you switch over to Turbo Mode II, you’ll find a much larger, crunchier distortion with a fantastic boost of the mids, ideal for leadwork. There’s a remote input to enable you to connect an external footswitch allowing you to switch between the two modes completely hands free!

The main distortion knob enables you to tweak the level of distortion in your sound, covering everything from a mild crunch to a red-hot distorted sound just perfect for metal and various other heavy styles.
The Tone knob enables you to boost either high or low frequencies to further sculpt your sound from the DS2.
