Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro - 80 Ohm - Studio Headphones is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Luscious sounds and amazing comfort These headphones are another level of quality. They're perfect for monitoring and return clarity I wasn't previously used to. The bass response is also perfect, for me. Not too much but so precise with the very low frequencies. Mids and highs sit right where they should and have no noticeable annoying characteristics. For the price they're amazing. I'd say they're cheap :) If I had to balance with a criticism I'd day the pressed metal frame, while seen as quality, is a little too sharp (needs deburring) and stops me from wrapping the cord around them as I'd normally do. Feels like it would cut the cord. Maybe that's bad practice and this is a deliberate design thing. I bought the 80ohm which, despite what you're told, DO need a pre-amp. But who cares when they sound this good.
