Introducing the ‘Nerve’ from Tsakalis, a dual channel distortion pedal handmade in Athens, Greece.
The Nerve MKII is a seriously high-gain distortion pedal, designed with heavy and aggressive styles in mind. Capable of tones from a mild crunch, to chainsaw-like distortion, the Nerve allows for excellent control and always remains tight and punchy, unlike some other high-gain pedals which can often times suffer from sounding too fizzy and thin.

The Nerve MKII holds a wide variety of high-gain distortions underneath it’s tough metal chassis. Using the Nerve’s control panel, we’re able to mould the distortion to precisely how we’d like it. Prefer a more British style sound? No problem. Maybe the tight, high-gain American sound is more your kind of style? Sorted. Nerve MKII has got all bases covered.
The Nerve MKII’s dual channels share one common EQ. The EQ itself is controlled by 4 knobs, ‘Hi’, ‘Low’, and ‘Pres’ and ‘Mid’. It’s the inclusion of the Presence and Middle knobs which give the Nerve it’s versatility and which adds such colour and variation in sounds. Channel 1 has it’s own dedicated toggle switch to opt between high and low gain settings, the latter is great for times when you need a distortion a little more subtle.
Controlling The Nerve
Vol 1 Controls the volume of the Nerve's first channel.
Vol 2 Controls the volume of the Nerve's second channel.
Gain 1 This knob determines the amount of gain on channel 1.
Gain 2 This knob determines the amount of gain on channel 2.
EQ
This is where the shape of the Nerve's tone is controlled from.
Hi: - This controls the amount of high end/treble, and boosts/cuts accordingly.
Low: - This controls the amount of low end/bass, and boosts/cuts accordingly.
Mid - This controls the amount of mids, and boosts/cuts accordingly.
Pres - This boosts the upper mids and treble frequencies in a manner which makes the guitar's tone 'stand out' more.
Hi/Low Gain This is a dedicated switch for 'Gain 1'. This selects between High and Low gain settings.
