Monitor signals up to 4K DCI and 4K UHD at 30p, and 1080p HD at up to 60p with HDR HLG and HDR PQ monitoring modes or utilize one of 8 LUTs to preview your shots in your favourite looks. Utilize the USB-C to control mirrorless or DSLR cameras from Canon, Panasonic, and Sony, as well as popular compact cinema cameras from Z CAM's E2 line with the optional USB-C to Serial Cable. Due to its low power consumption and efficient hardware, Shinobi II will run all day on a single battery charge. Expose your shots accurately using our advanced exposure tools like false color, zebras, histograms, waveforms, and vectorscopes. A multi-tool Analysis View gives you all the essential info at a glance. There’s even a selfie Mirror Mode for vloggers. Shinobi II is the perfect accessory to improve any photo or video production.

New Camera Control and Locking Cables
Camera ControlA much requested feature from original Shinobi users, camera control is now possible thanks to the addition of the USB-C connection.
Using specially designed on-screen sliders you can adjust white balance, lens aperture, shutter speed/angle and ISO. A red edge display indicates when the camera is recording internally, whether triggered by the camera or from the Shinobi II.
At launch, Shinobi II will be able to control most Canon, Panasonic, and Sony mirrorless cameras over USB-C, and all Z CAM E2 series models (LANC cable required, purchased separately). Cameras from Fujifilm, Nikon, OM System, and SIGMA will be supported with future firmware updates.
Cable LockingAtomos has developed a unique and rugged locking ecosystem to maintain a secure grip on connected HDMI and USB-C cables and Shinobi II is supplied with a special bracket to facilitate this. With Atomos locking (purchased separately) it is the most robust capture cable system available today. Shiboi II is also fully compatible with standard, non-locking cables.

Calibrated, True-to-eye coloursCalibration is the key to a trustworthy monitor. Shinobi II can be calibrated with an X-Rite/Calibrite probe, or using the Atomos Calibrator app, for ongoing accurate HDR and Rec.709 monitoring. Accurate monitoring ensures reliable results.

Powered by AtomOSShinobi II runs on the AtomOS platform and is packed with an extensive suite scopes and simple one-touch operations. Shinobi II includes monitoring tools for focus, framing, and exposure, including focus peaking, 4:1/2:1/1:1 zoom, zebra, false colour, frame guides, SMPTE safe area, grid markers, waveform RGB parade, vectorscope, a multi-view 'analysis' view and a flexible 3D and 1D LUT, profile and preset support (upload .cube files via SD card) and options for anamorphic desqueeze monitoring (2x, 1.8x, 1.79x, 1.65x. 1.6x, 1.5x, 1.33x, 1.25x).
