cfexpress card being inserted into the ninja tx go

Record to CFexpress and more!Atomos invented the concept of a monitor that also records to high capacity, inexpensive removable media. Previous Ninjas used removable SSD Drives*, but now with Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX you can choose to record on either CFexpress or an external hard drive* with high-speed USB-C connection. So now you have even more recording media options!

ninja tx go wireless interface

Integrated wireless featuresBoth Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX come with everything included for Wi-Fi cloud connectivity, including 20GB of free ATOMOSphere storage and the ability to share footage with anyone, anywhere. Unique cable locking systemAtomos has developed a unique and rugged locking ecosystem to maintain a secure grip on connected HDMI and USB-C cables. Both Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX come with special brackets to facilitate this, and a USB-C locking cable. With Atomos locking cables you get the most robust cable system available today.

ninja tx go tally light

Tally lightAdding a tally light to Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX is a simple but powerful update that is especially useful in live production setups. A tally light provides a clear visual indicator of when the camera is recording or broadcasting. When Ninja TX GO or Ninja TX is recording, the light automatically turns red (live/on-air). If the tally light is green it indicates to the talent that the camera/monitor-recorder is on preview or standby.

Flexible Power Options

ninja tx go in use

Resolution and frame ratesThe Ninja series supports a wide range of resolutions and frame rates, depending on the output of your camera: up to 120fps at HD resolution, up to 60fps at 4K UHD/DCI and up to 30fps at 8K UHD/DCI resolution. Shooting in higher frame rates is typically used for slow motion playback or fast action scenes.

ninja tx go codecs interface

Choice of codecsAll Ninjas come with Apple ProRes, Avid DNx and H.265/H.264 pre-activated, so you can start shooting immediately with the codec best suited to your project. Both Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX also include NDI 6 / HX3 as standard, which is a separate purchase for Ninja / Ninja Ultra.

ninja tx go log formats

LOG formatsAll Atomos monitor-recorders support a wide variety of LOG profiles from the most popular camera manufacturers, including Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Nikon, Fujifilm, ARRI, and RED. Being able to work with LOG profiles allows for greater dynamic range and more flexibility in color grading during post‑production.

Professional Monitoring Tools

one-touch monitoring toolsThe Ninja range offers a comprehensive suite of simple, one-touch monitoring tools for focus, framing, and exposure, including focus peaking, zoom (2:1, 1:1), zebras, false color (including ARRI and EL Zone™), frame guides, SMPTE safe areas, grid markers, waveforms, an RGB parade, vectorscope, and flexible 3D/1D LUT support with profile and preset options (including .cube file uploads). Additionally, Ninja provides anamorphic de-squeeze monitoring to correct the ratio for anamorphic lens setups.

ninja tx go el zone

EL ZoneAll Ninja monitor-recorders support EL Zone, a professional false color exposure tool that helps you see exactly how bright or dark different parts of your image are. Unlike traditional false color systems that use rough IRE ranges, EL Zone assigns specific colors to exact exposure values—based on stops of light, in the same way your camera sees exposure. It’s a precise and consistent way to expose your image correctly every time.

ninja tx go luts

LUTSA Ninja monitor-recorder receives LOG signals from the camera and offers real-time LUT (Look-Up Table) preview to approximate what the final graded image will look like in Rec.709 — all while recording in high-quality ProRes, DNxHR, or ProRes RAW. Custom LUTs (.cube files) can be loaded from the CFexpress card or SSD and used in conjunction with the Ninja’s built-in monitoring tools for precise exposure control.

See True Colours With HDR Precision

BrightnessAll Ninjas have a 5-inch, 10-bit HDR/SDR touchscreen display. Ninja and Ninja Ultra have 1000 nits of brightness, while Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX have 1500 nits of brightness. All Ninja screens are viewable in direct sunlight and sun hoods are available as a separate purchase for extreme conditions.

ninja tx go hdr comparison

High Dynamic RangeYou can view 10+ stops of dynamic range from a LOG/PQ/HLG signal. Ninja’s unique HDR monitoring features help you simplify the complexities of shooting LOG and HDR, because it is possible to replicate post-production workflows when it matters most – while you are shooting.

ninja tx go being calibrated

CalibratedCalibration is the key to a trustworthy monitor. All Ninjas can be calibrated with Calibrite Display Pro HL / Plus HL probe directly via USB-C, or using the Atomos Calibrator app, for ongoing accurate HDR and Rec.709 monitoring. Accurate monitoring ensures reliable results.

Camera to CloudCamera to Cloud (C2C) is a workflow that lets you upload your video files directly from your connected Atomos monitor-recorder to the cloud, from wherever you’re shooting. There’s no time lost transporting and copying drives. Both Ninja TX Go and Ninja TX have everything you need to do C2C built in, for Ninja/Ninja Ultra you need to purchase Atomos Connect separately. Cloud-enabled monitor-recorders support direct upload to our own cloud platform ATOMOSphere, as well as third-party platforms, including Frame.io and Dropbox.

atomos ninja range

NDI 6 HX3 transmit and receiveNDI is a way to send and receive video over ordinary networks (including Wi-Fi and mobile) in high quality, but with remarkably low bandwidth requirements. It’s used increasingly in live production and events. Any Ninja can be fully integrated into an NDI environment, either as an NDI source, visible to all other authorized devices on the network, or as an NDI receiver, with all the monitoring functionality you expect from an Atomos device. NDI is included with Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX. For Ninja/Ninja Ultra it can be purchased from my.atomos.com (requires Atomos Connect).

Powerful System Management Tools

ninja tx go dual record mode

Dual RecordRecord full-quality ProRes RAW up to 4Kp60 while simultaneously recording HDp60 in H.265. It’s the best of both worlds. Craft your edit with the H.265 ‘proxy’ files. If that’s good enough quality for social media, send it out. If not, autoconfirm with the ProRes RAW master files for grading and finishing in post production.

ninja tx go matching file names

Matching filenamesAutomatically match filenames, timecode and record triggers from ARRI, Canon, RED and Sony cameras over SDI (Ninja TX), or the Nikon Z9 over HDMI (Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX). Matching back to the original in-camera (OCF) filenames makes a autoconforming proxy files a breeze.

ninja tx go segmentpro

SegmentProSegment/split long recordings into smaller, user-defined chunks, all without dropping a frame. With SegmentPro you can fit your files into any workflow. It’s easier to share smaller files, and safer too: if you lose a big file, you’ve lost everything. Working with smaller files minimizes this risk.
