ADAM Audio - 'T7V'

Active Vertical 2-way Nearfield MonitorADAM Audio’s range of wallet-friendly professional 2-way active studio monitors, the ‘T7V’ sports a 7” polypropylene low-frequency driver which boasts bass extension down to 39Hz to take care of the low frequencies, whilst the remarkable ‘U-ART’ accelerated-ribbon tweeter deliver sparkling highs all the way up to 25kHz – almost unheard of in monitors inhabiting this price range. The tweeter’s wide, uniform dispersion pattern is aided thanks to a precision waveguide modelled on the High Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide utilised in ADAM’s premium ‘S’ series studio monitors, which delivers a spectacularly broad sweet spot which liberates you from being constrained to a rigid listening position.
The T7V’s bevelled cabinet has a rear-firing bass reflex port attached to a solid metal backplate which houses the analogue input connection ports, DSP-controlled driver crossovers and equalisation. The woofer’s 70W Class D amplifier, alongside the 20W Class D tweeter amp, allows a pair of T7V’s to reach a maximum SPL of 110dB at one meter away. The T7V’s extended frequency response, robust dynamic range, staggering transient response, wide sweet spot, and small footprint make the T7V a superb choice for use in small control rooms for music production, video post, and broadcast applications.
If you’re looking for a professional monitoring solution, whilst remaining on a budget, you must consider ADAM Audio’s T7V nearfield monitor.

7" Polypropylene LF Driver

optimized driver chassis/basket designThe drivers inside the T7V studio monitors are the result of years of in-house research and detailed development, and also take full advantage of the latest advancements in technology and materials science. The woofer of the T7V is designed to deliver optimised low-frequency reproduction with further dynamic range and 100% freedom from colouration. In utilises a rigid, yet low-mass polypropylene driver cone; a hugely efficient magnet assembly and precisely aligned voice coil; and an optimised driver chassis/basket design.
The T7V extends bass response down to an impressive 39Hz, to make the T7V a perfect choice for nearfield monitoring in small control rooms, with or without a subwoofer. However, if further low-end is required, ADAM Audio's Sub8 and Sub7 subwoofers pair perfectly with the T7V.
'U-ART' Accelerated-Ribbon Tweeter

up to 25kHzRather than producing sound via a piston-like diaphragm like the majority of speakers, ADAM Audio’s ‘U-ART’ accelerated-ribbon tweeter utilised a pleated diaphragm which limits distortion by pushing air 4x faster than the folds themselves are actually moving.
Engineered to the tightest tolerances, the U-ART tweeter packs ultra-low distortion and extends the frequency range up to a spectacular 25kHz, enriching the sound field with glistening detail and authentically conveying every nuance of the source material, meaning you’re free to work over extended periods, free from listening fatigue.
ADAM Audio T7V - Active Nearfield Monitor
ADAM's T7V is a two-way studio monitor designed for vertical use in a nearfield application.
The wide frequency response, high dynamic range, excellent transient response, wide sweet spot and small footprints make the T7V perfectly suited for use in small control rooms for music production, video post-production and broadcast production – a great fit for the modest budgets that many facilities need to work with.
