Flexible Port Layout & Future-Proof Connectivity

The switch features 22 × 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports capable of 2.5G/1G/100M/10M speeds, 2 × 10 GbE RJ45 ports (10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M), and 4 × 10G SFP+ ports for fibre uplinks or high-speed aggregation. This port mix supports multi-gig workstations, wireless access points, and AV endpoints, giving networks the flexibility to expand while supporting demanding bandwidth requirements.

Advanced Layer 2 & Layer 3 Networking Features

As a fully managed Layer 3 switch, the Pro HD 24 offers DHCP server and relay functions, inter-VLAN routing, and static routing for segmented networks. Layer 2 features include LACP port aggregation, STP/RSTP, DSCP QoS, IGMP snooping with advanced multicast support, 802.1X network control, ACLs, port isolation, and jumbo frame support, allowing precise control over traffic, security, and performance. AV-focused profiles cover Play, Dante, Q-SYS, NDI, SDVoE, Shure, AES67, and Crestron for professional media applications.

Scalable Tables for Growing Networks

The switch maintains up to 1,000 VLANs, a MAC table of 32,000 entries, and 12,000 IPv4 routes with 12,000 ARP entries, giving networks ample capacity for multiple devices and segments. Access control lists include 128 IPv4 and 128 MAC-based entries, while traffic can be shaped using egress rate limiting, flow control, and multicast/broadcast rate limits.

Intelligent Power & Etherlighting™ Support

With a maximum power consumption of 60W from an internal AC/DC power supply and DC power backup support, the Pro HD 24 is built for continuous uptime in demanding rack environments. Etherlighting™ adds ARGB-style illumination to Ethernet and SFP+ ports, providing instant visual feedback for link speed, VLAN assignment, and port status. This colour-coded lighting turns the switch face into a live diagnostic surface, making cable tracing, port identification, and change verification faster and far more intuitive in dense or frequently reconfigured racks.

Enterprise-Grade Hardware & Reliability

The switch is housed in a rugged SGCC steel chassis, weighs 4.2 kg without brackets, and mounts in racks from 400 to 1,200 mm deep. Heat dissipation measures 102 BTU/hr, and the device operates reliably in temperatures from -5 to 40°C with 10–90% non-condensing humidity. A 1.3-inch touchscreen LCM provides quick monitoring and status updates.
