ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace 25" FHD 720Hz FreeSync Premium HDR10 WOLED Monitor

World’s First Esports OLED Monitor

The ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace brings OLED technology to the 24.5-inch esports format, combining Full HD (1920 × 1080) resolution with a 720Hz refresh rate and 0.02ms GTG response time. Built for professional competitive gaming, it delivers exceptional motion clarity, vivid colours and deep contrast, helping players track fast-moving targets and react quickly during high-pressure matches.

Tandem WOLED Technology

The four-layer Tandem WOLED panel enhances light emission, colour reproduction and panel longevity compared with previous OLED panels. With up to 1,700 nits HDR peak brightness and a 1.5M:1 contrast ratio, the PG259QWS Ace produces dazzling highlights and true blacks. Its 99.5% DCI-P3 colour gamut and true 10-bit colour deliver vivid, lifelike visuals, while the TrueBlack Glossy™ zero-haze optical layer and advanced anti-reflective treatment minimise distracting reflections, even in brightly lit rooms. ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology further enhances motion clarity without backlight strobing.

Esports Features and Customisation

The Quick OSD menu puts core display settings within easy reach, with customisable shortcuts for rapid access between matches. Hue Optimizer provides six-axis colour adjustment, allowing players to control specific colour ranges to help enemy outlines and in-game utility stand out. Three Esports Color Modes offer specialised visual profiles professionally tuned for competitive play, with settings tailored to different FPS titles.

ASUS OLED Care Pro

ASUS OLED Care Pro provides customisable panel protection through Default, Balance, Light and Advanced modes, with settings managed via DisplayWidget Center. The Neo Proximity Sensor detects the user's distance from the monitor and switches the display to a black image when they step away, restoring content when they return. Adjustable detection distance, five Motion Sensitivity levels and a 1–15-minute Auto-Away Timer provide additional control. Automatic pixel cleaning recalibrates the screen after several hours of use when the monitor enters standby, while Screen Move periodically shifts pixel positions to help prevent burn-in.

Cooling and Panel Longevity

A custom heatsink and internal airflow design improve cooling and help reduce the risk of OLED burn-in. GaNFET technology enhances heat dissipation and power efficiency, supporting longer panel lifespan. Tandem OLED technology also delivers a claimed 31% increase in brightness, 34% larger colour volume and 63% longer OLED lifespan compared with previous OLED panels. The monitor comes with a three-year warranty.

Gaming Tools and Eye Care

The AI Assistant includes AI Visual, Dynamic Crosshair and Dynamic Shadow Boost to help gamers practise and improve their skills. The GamePlus hotkey provides additional in-game enhancements, while GameVisual offers selectable display profiles. Flicker-Free technology and hardware-based ASUS Low Blue Light help reduce visual discomfort during extended sessions, with the low-blue-light technology carrying TÜV Rheinland certification.

Design and Ergonomics

The PG259QWS Ace features a distinctive semi-transparent rear shell that subtly reveals the monitor's internal components. Its compact stand frees up desk space for mouse movements and keyboard positioning, while measurement scales on the stand and base support convenient adjustments. Height, tilt, swivel and pivot controls allow users to customise their viewing position, with VESA wall-mount compatibility providing additional flexibility.

Excellent Connectivity

Connectivity includes DisplayPort 2.1a with full 80Gbps bandwidth and HDMI 2.1. DisplayWidget Center enables mouse-based monitor configuration, firmware update notifications, configuration import and export, multiscreen control and OLED protection management.
