ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace 25" FHD 540Hz FreeSync Premium HDR10 WOLED Monitor

World’s First Esports OLED Monitor

The ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace combines a 24.5-inch Full HD (1920 × 1080) TrueBlack Glossy™ Tandem WOLED panel with a 540Hz refresh rate and 0.02ms GTG response time. Engineered for professional esports, it delivers exceptional motion clarity, vivid colours and deep contrast to help players track fast-moving targets and react quickly during competitive matches.

Tandem WOLED Technology

The innovative four-layer Tandem WOLED structure enhances light emission, colour reproduction and panel longevity compared with previous OLED panels. With up to 1,700 nits HDR peak brightness and a 1.5M:1 contrast ratio, the XG259QWPG Ace produces dazzling highlights and true blacks. Its 99.5% DCI-P3 colour gamut, true 10-bit colour and factory-calibrated Delta E<2 accuracy deliver vivid, lifelike visuals. The TrueBlack Glossy™ zero-haze optical layer and advanced anti-reflective treatment minimise distracting reflections, even in brightly lit rooms, while ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology further enhances motion clarity.

Esports Features and Customisation

The customisable Quick OSD menu puts core display settings within easy reach, allowing frequently used options to be pinned for instant access. Hue Optimizer provides six-axis colour adjustment, giving players control over specific colour ranges instead of globally increasing saturation, helping enemy outlines and in-game utility stand out. Three Esports Color Modes offer specialised visual profiles professionally tuned for competitive play, with settings tailored to different FPS titles.

ASUS OLED Care Pro

ASUS OLED Care Pro offers customisable panel protection through Default, Balance, Light and Advanced modes, with settings managed through DisplayWidget Center. The Neo Proximity Sensor detects the user's distance from the monitor and switches the display to a black image when they step away, restoring content when they return. Adjustable detection distance, five Motion Sensitivity levels and a 1–15-minute Auto-Away Timer provide further control. Automatic pixel cleaning recalibrates the screen after several hours of use when the monitor enters standby, while Screen Move periodically shifts pixel positions to help prevent burn-in.

Cooling and Panel Longevity

A custom heatsink and internal airflow design improve cooling and help reduce the risk of OLED burn-in. Advanced GaNFET technology enhances heat dissipation and power efficiency, supporting longer panel lifespan. Tandem OLED technology also delivers a claimed 31% increase in brightness, 34% larger colour volume and 63% longer OLED lifespan. The monitor comes with a three-year warranty.

AI Gaming Tools and Eye Care

The integrated AI Assistant includes AI Visual, Dynamic Crosshair and Dynamic Shadow Boost to help gamers practise and improve their skills. The ASUS-exclusive GamePlus hotkey provides additional in-game enhancements developed with input from professional players, while GameVisual offers selectable display profiles. Flicker-Free technology and hardware-based ASUS Low Blue Light reduce visual discomfort during extended sessions, with the low-blue-light technology carrying TÜV Rheinland certification.

Ergonomic Design

The compact stand frees up desk space for wide mouse movements and comfortable keyboard positioning. Height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustments support a customised viewing position, while measurement scales on the stand and base make adjustments easier to read. A tripod socket and VESA wall-mount compatibility provide additional setup flexibility.

Excellent Connectivity

Connectivity includes DisplayPort 1.4 with Display Stream Compression (DSC), two HDMI 2.1 ports with Fixed Rate Link (FRL), and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. DisplayWidget Center also enables mouse-based monitor configuration, firmware update notifications, configuration sharing through import and export, multiscreen control and OLED protection management.
