Product Overview The NF-A14 is a premium quality quiet 140mm fan with a square frame that complies with Noctua's AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) standard.

Its square shape and 140mm mounting holes (124.5mm spacing) make it ideal for use on watercooling radiators or as an upgrade for 140mm case fans. Featuring sophisticated aerodynamic design measures such as Flow Acceleration Channels, the NF-A14 further improves the renowned quiet cooling performance of the award-winning NF-P14. The PWM version sports Noctua's custom designed NE-FD1 IC for fully automatic speed control via 4-pin fan headers and comes with a Low-Noise-Adaptor to reduce the maximum speed during PWM control from 1500rpm to 1200rpm. Its performance-oriented 1500rpm top speed and comprehensive speed control options make the NF-A14 PWM an elite choice for users who strive to strike a perfect balance between excellent cooling capacity and superb quietness of operation, be it on watercooling radiators, on heatsinks or in case ventilation. Features • 4-pin PWM and Noctua's AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation).
• Integrated Anti-Vibration Pads.
• Flow Acceleration Channels.
• Improved SS02 bearings.
• Six year warranty.

140mm Noctua NF-A14 PWM 1200/1500rpm Premium Quality Fan with Noctua's AAO is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from As good as fans get. Bought two of these to replace the 140mm stock fans on a Corsair H110i GTX cooler. I always buy Noctua fans for a new build; so far they are the quietest fans I've found and I've yet to have any sort of performance issues with one. Build quality is excellent and they really are very quiet. Never been a fan of the colour scheme but once you've used them you'll see why that doesn't really matter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality fan The fan is presented in a very smart box, and from the outset you can tell that it is a quality component. Inside the box, there are multiple connections, to reduce fan speed, to extend the cable, or a two way adapter. Another great touch. Once fitted the fan is very quiet and can hardly be heard. The PWM feature ensures that the fan is only used when needed. My only gripe is the choice of colour, it's not the greatest, and doesn't really fit with any modern style casing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best fans money can buy. They're not cheap but if you want quality, Noctua are they only way to go. Their PWM ICs (the chip inside the fan that controls it speed) are the best in the market. They give you the widest control (this fan for example can operate as low as 300RPM) and unlike other manufacturers do not emit switching noise. I found the sweet spot for airflow vs complete silence at idle to be around the 480-500RPM range. This is in comparison to the their 120mm fans that provide the same characteristics at 600RPM. Performance at 1500 RPM and static pleasures is also great. The only downside is their colour scheme but If you're like me and prefer function over form, you can't get any better. That or you could try their redux/industrial range with slightly higher RPM ranges.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Big Fan This is possibly one of the best fans on the market - Corsair take note

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money I bought this to replace a corsair af 140 fan i bought with similar claims of silence. This fan is not silent and not good value for money. I am disappointed. It is not much better than the fractal design fans that came with my budget fractal design r4 case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the best! I bought these fans to compliment/replace the standard ones, that come, in a Corsair 750D case. With the low rpm adaptors in place my PC is near silent. To the point where the loudest noise perceived, is coil whine from my power supply. Noctua products are not the cheapest, but, they are worth the extra pennies. They exude quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lovely quality, not as quiet as I'd hoped Top notch quality but nowhere near as quiet as I was hoping even using the rubber mounts, and in-line quietening cable. The no featured corsair that came with my case made less noise. Since fitting the Noctua I even have to perform percussive maintenance to restore my system to normal sound levels sometimes. Honestly, it's a good fan, but don't expect miracles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Push a whole'lotta air In all honesty these fans are probably the best airflow to noise ration fans on the market, however at 800RPM and above you and hear them, and at 1000 RPM they are quite loud however the amount of air they push at RPMs if 800 and above is astronomical and will beat nearly any other fan out there.
