SSD - M.2 / mSATA Small Form Factor

SSDs (Solid State Drives) are the fastest type of data storage device, cutting game and application load times while boosting overall system responsiveness versus HDDs (Hard Disk Drives). SSDs are more resilient and consume less power than HDDs, making them an ideal choice for laptops.

mSATA and M.2 2230/2242 SSDs are ideal for small form factor desktop PCs and laptops, or portable gaming handhelds such as the Steam Deck. These SSDs communicate anywhere from 600MB/s for mSATA drives, all the way up to 7900MB/s for M.2 2230/2240 drives.
