Intel Pentium Home/Office Laptops

These laptops are not powerhouses, but their Pentium processors have enough grunt for everyday computing. Screen sizes are often on the small side here, makes them great portable companions.

Intel Core i7

These laptops sport Intel's high-end Core i7 processors with Hyper-Threading and Turbo Boost, making them suitable for heavy multitasking and intensive applications. However, the on-board graphics are not well suited to gaming – look to gaming laptops for that. Laptops here that also have SSDs will be exceptionally speedy.
