Intel Branding Part I
Intel Branding Part I
Date Issued: 1st Jul 2009

Intel’s been on a mission of late. That mission revolves around grouping and standardising key technologies under various banners that are designed to ensure hardware compatibility and consumer ease of use. We’ll take a closer look at three such technologies that fall under the headings of Centrino, Viiv, and vPro, respectively.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

ThermalTake UX200, 1x 120mm ARGB LED Fan, Single Tower, 1500rpm, 43.34 CFM, PWM, Aluminium Fins, Copper Heatpipes is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very quiet and effective Bought one of these for my PC, easy to fit and colour coordinate. So pleased I bought another for my sons PC to replace the noisy cheap one I'd bought earlier. Worth the extra £

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive cooler After achieving 38/81 degrees from idle/ stress load on i7-9700f cpu with intel stock cooler i wanted a rgb fan that would keep the cpu cooler and that had a few wires to connect to not disturb my cable management. The UX200 was easy to setup but fiddly to clamp down onto cpu as that required a lil effort. But when it returned 33/58 degrees on idle/stress load which made a massive difference to gaming system. if you have a locked cpu and wanted a cooler solution this is a very good option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great, but fiddly to fit This uses two clips to fit it and need some real pressure to secure, I prefer a backplate mounted system but once in this works great
