The 16mm focal length for APS-C sensors offers a 24mm full-frame equivalence which is perfect for street photography, nightsky, and vast landscape photography. The lens's optical design incorporates two aspherical elements, two HR elements, and three ED glass elements, which together provide contrast-rich imagery with minimized flare and ghosting.
