Product Overview

Low Profile CPU Cooler

SilverStone Technology’s Nitrogon NT09-115X is a slim profile CPU cooler designed for space limited applications that utilises LGA 1156/1155/1150/1151 platforms. It has extruded aluminium fins for excellent thermal conduction. In addition, NT09-115X is equipped with a custom PWM 92mm silent fan that is staggered against the aluminium fins for better airflow focus and enhanced heat dissipation. Measuring only 45mm tall, the NT09-115X is a premier choice for slim cases utilising LGA 1156/1155/1150/1151 processors.

Features
• Supports Intel LGA1156/1155/1150/1151 processors.
• Designed for low profile systems at only 45mm tall.
• Custom quiet 92mm fan for excellent cooling and low noise.
• Extruded aluminum fins for good heat dissipation.
• Reinforced back plate design reduces motherboard bending to provide tighter CPU contact.

Intel’s been on a mission of late. That mission revolves around grouping and standardising key technologies under various banners that are designed to ensure hardware compatibility and consumer ease of use. We’ll take a closer look at three such technologies that fall under the headings of Centrino, Viiv, and vPro, respectively.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.
