uncompromising colour expressionThe Standard mode serves as the foundation for the LUMIX picture-making philosophy of "Capturing it All." It accurately depicts subjects as they are, striking a fine balance between memory colors and reproduction. Additionally, depending on the shooting scene or your creative intent, you can select from various photo styles, including Vivid, Natural, and unique monochrome settings. Notably, the LEICA Monochrome mode reflects Leica's picture-making philosophy by providing deep contrasts between black and white. You can also adjust the contrast and color saturation to match your personal preferences.
Real Time LUTReal Time LUT is a feature that enables you to apply a Look-Up Table (LUT) directly in the camera, allowing for unique colour expression. You also have the option to create your own custom LUTs. You can import LUTs from the LUMIX Lab app or from your favorite creators online directly into the camera for both photo and video shooting. Furthermore, you can layer two LUTs together to develop your own distinct color styles. The supported LUT file formats are ".VLT" and ".CUBE."
Lumix Lab AppLUMIX Lab is an app available for iOS and Android devices that allows for wireless connectivity and control between LUMIX cameras and smartphones. Once you transfer image data from your camera to your smartphone, you can use the app to apply LUTs (Look-Up Tables) or create your own custom LUTs using the app's colour adjustment features.
177MP ultra-high-resolution handheld shootingThe camera is equipped with a high-resolution mode, allowing you to capture even the finest details. Utilizing the in-body image stabilization (B.I.S.) system, it shifts the image sensor while continuously shooting, and by automatically combining eight shots, it generates an image equivalent to approximately 177MP. It supports both RAW and JPEG or in-camera RAW processing, delivering detailed expression with LUMIX's signature rendering. The LUMIX S1RII also supports this mode in handheld situations, making it flexible for use in locations where a tripod cannot be used.
AFC 40 fps burst shootingBy incorporating a new sensor, a high-pressure, high-durability DC motor, and optimizing the mechanical shutter control, LUMIX has achieved both high resolution and high-speed continuous shooting. The mechanical shutter allows for approximately 10 fps, while the electronic shutter achieves approximately 40 fps, ideal for capturing sports and wildlife. Additionally the to shooting while checking your subject in live view, the camera is equipped with an "H+ (High Speed Plus)" mode that prioritizes burst shooting speed when the AFC setting is enabled. In H+ mode or SH mode display post view, allowing you to check framing without blackout and concentrate on shooting.

The LUMIX S1RII’s pre-burst shooting function offers options for 0.5, 1.0, or 1.5-second pre-burst settings. 6.4K 30p 4:2:0 10-bit open gate video recordingThe LUMIX S1RII is capable of recording 6.4K in open gate video, which uses the entire sensor area. This makes it possible to crop the image in post-production retaining image quality, enabling flexible framing for any social media platform or client needs.
4K 60p 4:2:2 10-bit ALL-Intra / 4K 120p 4:2:0 10-bitThe LUMIX S1RII also offers recording modes for high-end editing. 4K 60p 4:2:2 10-bit ALL-Intra recording combines a huge amount of information with enhanced resolution through oversampling, delivering exceptional video quality. 4K 120p 4:2:0 10-bit high frame rate video recording allows you to create slow-motion video with audio by converting the frame rate using non-linear editing software.
Proxy video recordingIt is also possible to record a low-bitrate proxy file. Simultaneously recording a proxy file that is linked with the original video recording greatly improves the efficiency of post-production work, such as data transfer and editing.

New Photo Style "Cinelike A2“Choose photo styles that can be selected according to the shooting scene or shooting intent. The new photo style, "Cinelike A2," features a wide dynamic range and rich gradation, making it suitable for a variety of scenes. Compensate for perspective distortion with cropless modeThe LUMIX S1RII provides powerful support for the hand-held video shooting while moving. Active I.S. recognizes camera hand-shake and optimizes the compensation ratio in the pitch, yaw, and roll directions to compensate for significant hand-shake. E.I.S. reduces perspective distortion that occurs during video shooting. The combination of these two functions allows you to record smooth videos even when shooting on the move.
Furthermore, the LUMIX S1RII is equipped with cropless mode,* which compensates perspective distortion during video recording without changing the angle of view, such as when using a wide-angle lens. Improvements have also been made to the compensation performance when using an anamorphic lens.
