Using the power of the Venus Engine, the S1 is capable of shooting upto a max ISO of 51,200. If you’re a professional photographer, or videographer, the combination of high sensitivity and high image quality ensures that the S1 is the perfect tool, whatever the shoot.

It is thanks to the combined advanced technologies the S1 delivers smooth and organic looking footage even across rapidly moving scenes.
The Lumix S1 is designed to be able to facilitate outstanding heat dissipation, meaning it can shoot both 4K 30P/24P and Full-HD recording with no time limit. The ability to record for extended shoots makes this the ideal choice for a wide-range of professional usages, such as no-cut documentaries, fixed-point shooting of wild animals and so much more.

5-AXIS DUAL I.S. 2: CLARITY AND SHARPNESS Shoot photographs with confidence without worry about shake: the 5-axis Dual I.S. 2 (Image Stabilizer) brings intelligent compensation to your aid. This provides up to 6-stops of benefit, meaning you can use upto 6-stop slower shutter speed right up to the tele-end. The Lumix S1 virtually eliminates shake in both the body and the lens across both stills and video, including 4K! The incredible power of the 5-axis Body I.S is able to correct shake for all lenses, upto 5.5stops, even those not equipped with O.I.S.
4:2:2 10-Bit Internal Recording
Take 4K video to new levels
The LUMIX S1 will offer 4K 24/30p 4:2:2 10-bit internal video recording, 4K 60p 4:2:2 10-bit HDMI live output and V-Log as a software upgrade option (sold separately), to address the needs of the Professional video user. 4:2:2 10-bit, is capable of recording over 1 billion colours, approximately 128 times the data volume of 4:2:0 8-bit.
This massive volume of colour data is highly valuable in post-production, making it possible to optimise colours within the grade and even turn daylight into nightime in some scenes. In addition 4K 24p/30p video can be shot Full-Frame and full-pixel readout. Utilising the full power of the S1 Full-Frame camera takes 4K video to exciting new places.

Panasonic's advanced technology ensures unified control of the sensor, engine and lens to deliver high-speed, high-precision focus from every angle. Super-fast sensor to lens communication of 480fps and Panasonic's DFD (Depth From Defocus) technology makes high-speed, high-precision auto-focus in approximately 0.08 seconds a reality.
In addition, low-light Auto-focus performance is improved down to an impressive -6EV. Higher Sensitivity and optimised tuning of the sensor have increased light capturing performance, making crisp focusing possible with nothing more than starlight. Advanced processing technology can recognise not only human bodies but also a variety of animals, and the high-performance tracking system helps maintain focus on your subject.
