(Open Box) Neumann KH120 A Studio Monitor - Single Unit
(Open Box) Neumann KH120 100-watt Bi-amped Powered Nearfield Studio Monitor (Single)
(Open Box) Neumann - 'KH120 A'
Active Nearfield Studio Monitor (Single)
PRECISION REDEFINEDThe Neumann KH 120 is their leading model and development peak for compact studio monitors. As a reference class for close-range monitoring since 2011. Enormous power reserves and a high-precision sound. The result is a maximum signal fidelity and distinctly contoured transients across the entire, neutrally designed frequency response. This allows you to precisely control tonal depth and even the finest details in the mix.
The KH 120 a two-way bi-amplified monitor with thermally protected class-AB amplifiers (80 W each). Just like the drivers, its Mathematically Modelled Dispersion™ (MMD™) waveguide is calculated at a huge level of precision. Sound distributed in a horizontally precise manner guarantees flexibility in the listening position; the narrower vertical dispersion reduces the negative effects of nearby reflections, for example, from a desk or mixing console. The finely controlled dispersion characteristics optimize reproduction in even the most challenging room set ups.

Ports & High Dynamics
Incredible Bass ResponseFeaturing digital switched-mode power supply and bi-amplification, the KH 120 finds sound pressure of up to 111.1 dB and as a result, retains a high-resolution and neutral representation across the whole frequency response. This gives you plenty of energy for maximum dynamics without distortion and losses. Thanks to this, the bass goes down to an impressive 52 Hz.
Despite using ports, there is no “overhang” in the bass response. The transient response stays well in control. The optimized design of the drivers provides clean sound right down to the lowest parts of the 50 Hz region. This rich foundation offers enough room to work cleanly on the mix without requiring a subwoofer. In the challenging treble range, the specially developed, powerful alloy fabric dome ensures distortion-free reproduction.
Automatic Monitor Alignment
Room CorrectionAlong with its outstanding acoustic capabilities this subwoofer offers functions for non DSP-based Neumann monitors connected (analog) to its outputs regarding the interplay using the following tools.
Automatic Monitor Alignment - Automatic room correction of stereo systems using the Neumann MA 1 measurement microphone (software for Mac/PC). Neumann.Control – Free iPad®-App for setup, operation, and room correction of stereo systems via guided and/or manual alignment.
The Neumann Philosophy
Pure & Neutral SoundThe KH 120 has been designed true to the Neumann philosophy for monitor loudspeakers. Every component, every shape, every signal and every wave motion is a consequence of this philosophy. No form or component is there without reason. There are hundreds of tangible reasons built into the KH 120, which all stand for the incredibly pure and neutral sound.
For example, the curvatures of the housing that reduce edge diffraction and the pistonic output of the bass driver which does not show any sign of harmonic distortion, even with the highest sound peaks. Some of these reasons are obvious in the KH 120. Others Neumann prefers to keep to themselves. In conjunction, all can be heard and sound professionals in both large and small studios all around the world will agree.
