Theremini delivers instant success to anyone, regardless of age or physical ability, whilst also providing new and exciting ways to experiment with music, education and gestural control. Assistive pitch correction allows each player to adjust the instruments level of playing difficulty. Once activated, the Theremini will sound every note in a selected scale perfectly, making it literally impossible to hit a bum note. The further the assistive pitch level is decreased, a more expressive control over pitch and vibrato then becomes possible. Upon deactivation, the Theremini will act as a traditional Theremin with zero pitch correction.

The Theremini is a re-imagining of one of the oldest electronic musical instruments in history, and Bob Moog's first love -- the Theremin. The Theremini combines a powerful sound engine derived from Moog's award winning synthesizer, Animoog, with the traditional no-touch playing of a traditional Theremin.

Assistive pitch quantization allows each player to adjust the instrument's level of playing difficulty. At the maximum position, the Theremini will play every note in a selected scale perfectly, making it impossible to play a wrong note. As this control is decreased, more expressive control of pitch and vibrato becomes possible. When set to minimum, the Theremini will perform as a traditional Theremin - the analog heterodyning oscillator controls pitch and there is absolutely no assistance.
