Levinson’s patented ‘VSC’, is a highly responsive means of shaping the tone of your guitar. Designed with the discerning tone fanatic in mind, this pedal has a high level of sophistication when compared to other boost pedals on the market, in that, it’s boost is rather more moderate, however, therein lies its appeal. The slightest adjustment of the ASS’s controls works hard to bring out the characteristics unique to your guitars voice. As a tone shaping device, Levinson’s Acoustic Sound Shaper is nothing short of spectacular.
The ASS offers either a mid-boost, or a treble/bass boost. Upon activating the mid-boost, you’ll notice the ASS can really add some focus and clarity to your guitars voicing, allowing it to cut through, just when you need to. Moving over to the treble/bass boost, this can really add some of that 'sparkle' effect and really fill out your guitars low end.
