The Purple Rain version combines its performance-focused specification with a distinctive custom crystal finish, giving it a striking look without distracting from what the guitar is built to do. The 25.5"-26.5" multiscale layout provides extra length on the lower strings for improved tension when using heavier gauges or lower tunings, while keeping the treble side closer to a familiar six-string feel. The bolt-on three-piece maple neck has a satin finish and is reinforced with a carbon fibre composite truss rod. A 12"-16" compound-radius composite fingerboard, 24 jumbo stainless steel frets and offset circle aluminium inlays complete the neck, giving the R7F a modern playing feel with a flatter surface towards the higher frets. The lightweight mahogany body uses Legator’s Revenant shape, with ergonomic contours and a 38mm body thickness. A pair of Legator AfterShock Rail active humbuckers provides the main source of output.
