Ghost Super Shred SeriesLegator G7FOD is a headless seven-string built for players who want extended-range performance without the bulk of a conventional seven-string. Part of Legator's Ghost Overdrive range, it combines a compact ergonomic design with a 25.5"–26.5" multiscale, giving the lower strings a little more tension while keeping the higher strings comfortable under the fingers.
The body is constructed from alder and topped with figured California Buckeye Burl, while the three-piece roasted maple bolt-on neck is paired with an 18" radius Pale Moon Ebony fingerboard. The relatively flat fingerboard and 3mm jumbo stainless-steel frets make the G7FOD particularly well suited to modern playing styles, whether you're working through fast runs, wide stretches or lower tunings.
For the electronics, Legator has fitted a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern pickups, with push/pull voice selection giving you additional tonal options without complicating the control layout. A three-way blade switch and master volume keep things straightforward, while the LED kill switch provides a useful performance feature for players who like to incorporate rhythmic cuts and effects into their playing.
The headless design uses Legator's Ghost locking head bar and fine-tuning bridge, keeping the overall footprint compact while providing individual adjustment at the bridge. Luminlay offset fingerboard markers and side dots are also useful when you're playing in darker stage or studio environments.
With its multiscale construction, extended-range pickup configuration and compact headless design, the G7FOD is aimed squarely at modern players who need a seven-string that feels quick and controlled rather than cumbersome.
