Turn Any Camera into NDI® CameraThe Kiloview U40 NDI® encoder supports 4K60 video over HDMI or USB input, convert to NDI high bandwidth, also supporting IP to NDI®| HX conversion. With great functions such as PoE+DC Out, PTZ, Tally and a cold shoe mount, the Kiloview U40 is the smallest, powerful NDI® encoder which can turn any camera into an NDI® camera.
With only one network cable, video sources from HDMI cameras and others can easily be brought into the world of NDI and enjoy the advantages of IP-based transmission featuring ultra-high image quality and ultra-low latency.
NDI Out the Box
Comprehensive NDI® performanceGet NDI® out the box. Kiloview U40 NDI® converts HDMI to NDI® up to 4K60p resolution. Additionally the U40 can convert USB video to NDI® (Limited resolutions and models only) with 3.5mm analog audio embedded in NDI® supported for flexible applications.
Compatible with NDI®|HX: U40 also convert IP streams such as SRT/RTMP/RTSP/UDP/HLS to NDI®|HX (Available when software is upgraded.)
Compact, Beautiful Design
Encoders are supposed to be ExquisiteThe U40 encoder integrates great features including network switching, NDI® encoding, heat dissipation, PoE and DC out – making it the most complex encoder in the industry.
The engineers at Kiloview decided to create a multi-functional encoder with a unique small, beautiful round shape offering two methods to fix your encoder to your camera. Either install vertically with the included hot shoe screw or alternatively you can purchase a hot shoe accessory to mount your encoder horizontally on the camera.
Dual GbE and PoE
Dual Gigabit Ethernet portsBuilt-in Dual Gigabit Ethernet port that can be applied to two different networks simultaneously, with SRT/RTMP input via WAN which can be output to NDI®|HX via LAN. You can use one port in WAN and another for LAN; with one of the ports supporting PoE functionality, in addition to powering the encoder the port can also output 15W of power to a monitor, recorder or even your cameras.
Tally and PTZ Control
Perfect for ProductionWorried about the workflow in a studio? With the U40 has built in super bright Tally lights for program and preview, allowing your team to work in perfect harmony.
Supports PTZ control, receiving the PTZ signal sent by the NDI® production system or NDI® decoder, and then controlling the PTZ camera through the serial port (232/485, etc) or network.
Aluminium Construction
Great Thermal DesignThe U40 is encased in aluminium alloy for better heat dissipation and thermal conductivity compared to plastic or other materials and designed with heat dissipation holes on the top. A built-in 35mm fan ensures the heat dissipation by moving more air volume through the cooling holes to keep the encoder cool during longer workloads whilst staying quiet at 18.3dB.
