Developed for the extra connectivity demands of a notebook, it extends the USB Type-C™ connection of a computer to USB Type-A peripherals, SD 3.0 and microSD 3.0 cards and Type-C™ Power Delivery (PD) function via only one USB Type-C™ interface.

With one USB Type-C™ host interface, the door is opened for five additional ports, 2x cardreader, USB 3.0 Type-A are opened and in addition, the host computer can be charged when the appropriate power supply is connected.
