This guitar has been on display in our showroom so may have minor signs of being played already. However, all guitars purchased are carefully prepared by our Guitar Technicians before leaving Scan, getting treated to a new set of strings and a full 22-point professional set-up before being despatched to you.

made in japanThe MM7 features a 4mm thick AAA-grade flamed maple top on an African mahogany body bolted to an S-Tech roasted maple neck with an S-Tech roasted maple fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets, abalone dot position markers and luminescent side dots. Components include a pair of Seymour Duncan Hyperion humbucking pickups, a Gotoh T1872S two-point synchronized tremolo bridge with titanium saddles, a Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut, an angled output jack, Gotoh locking tuning machines and Sure Grip III knobs.

The MM7 employs a dyna-MIX10 switching system (see diagram below) with an "Alter switch" toggle which allows the user to access ten distinct tones. The Alter switch appears to tap one coil of the humbucker (as opposed to a traditional coil-split which disables one coil completely) to achieve a sound similar to a single coil without the drop in output which typically accompanies a coil split.

It doesn’t matter what the value of the guitar, if you buy it from us we take extra steps to ensure you are completely satisfied with your instrument. Each guitar goes through a 22 step professional guitar set up process to make sure your new instrument sounds as the manufacturer intended it to play.

This means that your guitar may take an extra day to deliver, just so we can get these checks done. You’ll receive email updates once your guitar is ready for despatch.
