Ibanez - ICMS721
(Iron Pewter)
the iceman cometh...Ibanez's truly iconic ICMS721 brings the unmistakable Iceman body shape into extended-range territory, pairing its distinctive angular silhouette with a seven-string multiscale design built for modern heavy playing. Finished in Iron Pewter with black hardware, it has a suitably dark look to match its high-output specification.
At the centre of the design is a 25.5"–27.2" multiscale setup, giving the lower strings a longer scale for added tension and definition while keeping the treble strings more comfortable under the fingers. The five-piece maple and walnut Wizard II-7 neck has the slim, flat profile Ibanez is known for, joined by an ebony fingerboard, 24 jumbo frets and luminescent side dots for visibility on darker stages.
at a glance
• Seven-String Multiscale Design – A 25.5"–27.2" scale length balances comfortable upper-string playing with increased tension and definition on the low strings.
• Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic Pickups – Active humbuckers deliver high-output aggression, tight low-end response and selectable pickup voicings.
• Wizard II-7 Neck – Five-piece maple and walnut construction provides a slim, fast-playing profile for technical rhythm and lead work.
• Mono-Rail G2 Bridge – Individual bridge units help isolate each string, with top-loading or string-through installation options.
• Distinctive Iceman Body Shape – The iconic angular silhouette meets a dark Iron Pewter finish, with Gotoh MG-T locking tuners for reliable tuning stability.
Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic 8 Humbuckers
Mono-rail G2 bridgeA pair of active Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic 8 humbuckers delivers the aggressive attack and output needed for tight riffs, articulate low tunings and cutting lead work. The push/pull volume control switches pickup voicing, taking you from a modern, high-output sound to a crisper, cleaner response without changing guitars.
The Mono-rail G2 bridge gives each string its own isolated bridge unit, helping maintain note separation and reducing unwanted string-to-string interaction. Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads keep tuning changes straightforward, while the bridge supports either top-loading or string-through installation. With its focused electronics, extended-range design and included gig bag, the ICMS721 is a distinctive Iceman built for players who need seven strings and plenty of control.
